Ruhi Conscious Retail is the commercial brand of the Lightworkers’ NPO (158906) Sewing Co-operative. As a social enterprise, a percentage of our profits is reinvested in our Cooperative and other Lightworker Initiatives in marginalised communities.

We have worked for the last 10 years in partnership with Johannesburg Institute of Social Services, serving the communities and areas they are operating in. We have actively rehabilitated women from these communities represented as Lenasia, Lawley, Lawley Station, Vrededorp, Fordburg, Crosby, Mayfair, Mayfair West, Brixton, Newtown, Amalgam, Crown Mines and Langlaagte. Of the total client load of JISS - 605 are women and 525 are male. 55% Black, 30% Indian, 10% coloure, 5% white.
